@Creati132 Honestly, I would never let one guy ruin your attraction to guys. One clown shouldn’t ruin that for you. Not all guys are this way. I can assure you. I have seen many posts on people saying “someone told my best friend something and not me,” and I know it hurts. This situation, it’s not even just “someone’s confiding in my friend and not me,” it’s that he’s leaving you hanging with not telling you information that would be actually considerate if you knew. Given you told him you liked him, it’s just considerate to tell you that he’s gay, or dating someone else now.

@Creati132 I mean, for some people its hard to reject a person to their face because it’ll make them feel bad so they don’t. Just because one slow dude blew you off shouldn’t mean that you have to just completely stop liking guys, just try again.

Not to defend him, but just to defend men in general lol;
I think for a lot of guys it’s pretty rare for someone to actually say they like them, and so it can be hard to decline an opportunity when someone does end up liking them, even if they know the relationship wouldn’t last. Honestly, I could almost see myself doing this or something like it just because I didn’t realize that it would be an issue yknow? Maybe its stereotyping to say, but I think most guys in this situation wouldn’t mean any harm.
