I see another user is in need of some insight:

This is a tough one, especially for a younger generation. It’s hard to appreciate the things around you because at this point in your lives, a lot of things have been handed to you.

As a somewhat successful adult, I have to say, it’s still hard to grasp that Ive gotten as far as I have, and sometimes even I look at my house, my wife and other amenities I have and think to myself how lucky I am.

But, the reality of it is, life isn’t a given thing, some people aren’t nearly as lucky as others, but that’s alright, you just need to focus on what you have and be grateful for everything. You never know how valuable something is, until you don’t have it anymore.
