‘Calm before the storm’ is a stereotype that leads to you only picking out the bad things that happen in your life and heightening their impact on your mentality. However, it can also be seen as a wonderful thing if you switch views upon what the storm is. Maybe you are the storm, or maybe you’re the calm. It could be possible that the storm is life in general, and you have the capacity to be calm before all of those emotions. Never look forward to badness.

It’s okay if you miss a daily task due to something coming up. Whether it’s rest, or an activity, it’ll still be re-startable when you come back.

People aren’t gonna like you sometimes, and there might be nothing you can change about that. Just keep being kind, and they might come around eventually. If they don’t, that’s on them.

If someone you look up to turns out to be bad, keep living by those ideals they taught you to live by, but only if they are good ideals. They are no longer linked to them, they are linked to you. Inspire others.

Not everyone will like your sense of humor. However, humor is an art that comes in many different styles. Some enjoy anime-like, or cartoonish artstyles. If they only like certain styles of humor, then don’t humor them.

If you really like doing something, take some time out of your busy schedule to do it! It might benefit your mind much more than you think!

Do what you love, and be proud of yourself for loving you.

Distance yourself from harmful people in your life, no matter how much it hurts. If they make you feel bad, you need to know there are better people out there who can easily replace them and be nicer to you than they have ever been.
                            Bad mom? Get a mom-friend.
Bad friend? Chill with yo mom, or your family.
No friends? No Family? Go out there and find some, you goofball. <3

Avoid contagious diseases, please. A day off from school might sound fun, but it isn’t really fun in the long run if you get some incurable disease that hurts you really badly for a really long time. If you do get one, make sure to get proper medical treatment as soon as possible.
