Are any of you not able to verify your email address?

It appears a lot of members haven’t verified their email address, but this is problematic because the idea was to require it to use the forum. If any of the active users don’t have an email account they can verify with (and school accounts usually block external mail) then I need to take this into consideration.

@FinnyWinny are you not able to use gmail due to parental restrictions or something? also what other restrictions do members have; it seems a lot of people are here because they can’t use stuff like discord either.

@FinnyWinny alright so i guess we can’t depend on emails for anything. this makes moderation tougher but ip bans seem to do the job. also it seems some people try to register new accounts when they forget their password since they can’t reset it with email and can’t email me to reset it :P so maybe we should forego the rule of one account per person, or maybe i should provide a way for them to contact without email.

admin Yeah that sounds like a good idea, maybe you could use something other than email to verify as well. I don’t know what I’d have to do some digging but I can if you’d like!
