@Burd that pic gave me ptsd. Brings me back to the olden days when i was younger. Terrible times. 2006. My mother had just finished her job. It was Dark Days. She told me “Son, let’s watch a movie together”. That isn’t the worst of it. The movie choice she picked was…. “The Lord Of The Rings: Fellowship Of The Ring”. I can’t think about that movie without my ptsd kicking in. Anyways, everything was scary, monsters fighting humans, screaming dark suited monsters of death. But this wasn’t enough to haunt my thoughts. Soon enough. The fellowship, had reached “ Khazad-dûm”…
I cannot talk about it without getting mortified and teary eyes. That creature, runs through my head, screaming “SMEAGOL!!” And choking “Gollum”…. Man. Once i knew i saw him. My life was over.
Every time i tried to sleep, his face would pop in my mind and he’d say “my precious” as if claiming my soul already.
That… was enough to wake me up. I had years of therapy to fix my mind, but when i looked at that inflatable zombie baby…. There was one word that appeared in my mind, that caused a heart attack… “Gollum”The end
This wasn’t a true story (the ptsd i mean. The whole first paragraph is true. The rest fiction lol) i just hope i made people laugh, facepalm, and shake their heads at how stupid this story was lol
