History of Valentines Day Story

It’s a holiday honoring a man named St. Valentine, in one martyrdom story, he restores vision to his jailers blind daughter, he wrote the daughter a letter signed, “Your Valentine”. So basically, St. valentine advocated for love and thats how it became associated with love, from my understanding. He married Christian soldiers who were forbidden to marry and overall, is just very cool.
