Simply, you choose to. You’re not going off on somebody on an online community forum because you’re having a bad day (or because you saw something you disagreed with or because you’re just an asshole in general and you feel the need to be a pretentious douchebag just because, listed because Tripod commented on it), but because you feel the strong want to say something that you really never had to type. It’s not going to make you feel any better, making a fool of yourself on a forum where a lot of people actually do know you, and have permanent record of the things you sent. Arguing definitely won’t, either. So my point here is, trying to ruin someone elses mood won’t improve yours, and just gets you worked up over, literally, nothing. You’d feel much better if you were more polite to people and you got along well with the people here.
That is, unless you’re the one cringe individual who acts like being made a fool of is amusing and that it’s “hilarious” how someone actively defends themselves, when in reality you’re typing furiously and not even grinning. That, or you’re pretending to smile in amusement.
So please don’t be rude for no reason, it just makes you seem immature. We like you better when you’re the bigger person.

tripod maybe i didn’t have the patience to list every reason why some of you reasonlessly attack others out of the blue, seeing as there are a lot of stupid excuses one could possibly come up with, but my mistake, i’ll definitely make sure to list every possible reason there could be next time

the reason why i consider it quite peaceful on my behalf is because i never come onto someone else’s topic being rude without any good excuse to be, nor do i usually involve myself. be like beel, don’t be an argumentative little lemon shark, and don’t worry, be happy :)
