Advice Corner Vol. 6 (Trigger Warning/self harm)

Hey all! I’m back again for another one of these. This one is a bit heavy, and im sorry it took so long, I hope you’re doing okay, I’ve been on vacation, just got back yesterday, anywho.

Of course I’ll start off with the obvious, please don’t. Nothing in life will ever make ending it worth your while. As someone who’s attempted suicide before, take it from me, my eyes have been opened.

When i was younger, and my parents were going through a nasty divorce, life was really rough. To make a long story short, a lot of the blame got put on little pre-teen me in a pretty harsh way. I didn’t see an end and I was convinced i was the problem so I tried ending my own life, and very clearly it didn’t end well.

It was a really huge turning point. I’m not gonna go into detail much, but after my failed attempt, I got the help i needed, reached out to some people and honestly, 10+ years later, I couldn’t be more grateful that I’m still living today.

Life is a journey of self discovery and perseverance. Let’s face it, life sucks, and there’s not much you can do about that. There are always going to be people trying to bring you down. You have to keep going, lift your head up at all times, don’t let life get you down. There are always going to be days where you don’t feel like going on, and that’s okay. We all feel like that sometimes, but you have to be strong.

Life will never stop surprising you, so please, If you ever need to reach out and talk to someone, don’t hesitate. There are plenty of people who would drop anything to help you!

@Knoxzee My wife and I went on a little getaway together to some resort for her birthday, and our anniversary.
