have you ever met someone who makes jokes out of depression?
because i have and i cannot stand her.
i have clinical depression, i have since i was 11. im on antidepressants and its something that i dont make my whole personality though it does affect my moods and stuff.
i met a girl last year, she had a bad depressive episode when her grandma died and she was my friend so i helped her through it.
but ever since depressions been her only personality trait and shes not even fun to be around. i get thats a devastating loss but that doesnt excuse making hanging jokes and suicide jokes around me, who it puts me in a ptsd episode which causes anxiety attacks for me. (im very mentally unstable) and its just so annoying. depression isnt a personality trait or a fucking trend.
its a disorder that fucks up your head.
so excuse me if i seem pissed over nothing but mmmm…
anyway.

Anywas, yes, I know what you mean. I dont like those kinds of people who just have to joke 24/7 about depression. Other people go through just as bad things but they don’t make it rule the rest of their lives.
