You walk into an empty room. It is devoid of furniture. Even carpet. It’s like when you move into a house for the first time… But that was the only room. In the house. A one-room house. Hardly even a house…
You close the door behind you. The door disappears. There are no windows. But there’s a hole in the wall. You could’ve sworn that, since it was only but a single room, there’d be the forest on the other side of the hole.
But there wasn’t. It was a devoid darkness. There’s something about the darkness that makes you just want to… Drown within its depths. You walk towards the emptiness, in a hypnotic state. You walk for so long that eventually you no longer see the entrance. It gets… Colder?
You hear the dripping of water…
Weird.
The feeling of the ground beneath you reminds you of a subway track.
The ground begins rumbling…
You begin to hear it.
The roaring of a train.
It’s deafening.
Then you see it.
The most concerning part wasn’t that you were about to die.
It had a mouth. Why did it have a mouth? That’s not right.
The last thing you’d expect to see while being run over by a train is its blinding lights…
