day 177 off nic
-
Uh basically just wanted to make this to encourage you not to do nicotine, especially as a minor. And here’s why. Life is easier off of it, yes. But it comes with new issues. Here’s a couple. I have to go to rehab biweekly. Kids at school laugh at it, I don’t care but if you do then that might be an issue. I love rehab, I met Parker there (well technically it was rehab for teens with at home issues so kinda therapy too but anyway). He’s my best friend in this whole fucking world (who btw, is coming home sometime next week). And then, sometimes in depressive episodes, I have impulses to go back. Part of it due to the addiction, part of it due to ADHD. My family worries. When I’m really depressed, my mom goes through my room. Whenever I go to a family gathering, “How are you doing off that nicotine? How long has it been?”. Whenever I talk to people from my old school, they see me as a crazy fucking nic addict. It’s one of the worst decisions I’ve ever made in my fucking life and I’m literally begging yall not to do it. I really just want to encourage everyone here to solve their problems in a healthy way, and yes 177 days off is good but I still have a long way to go, and I have no problem going there. I’m happy off the nic, but it’s still not something I should’ve done in the first fucking place. Don’t even wait until you’re of age, just don’t do it. It’s a horrible idea and I fully regret the fact that I did it, and yes I met some lifelong friends on my journey, but I feel like we would’ve crossed pathes anyway. Anyway, yes I’m proud I made it this far and I’ve stood strong against it for 177 days!!!

@finneass I’m proud of you Finn, very proud. My mom and dad are nic addicts, and they’ve tried to stop but they can’t. It’s sad cause theres vapes all over the house, when I was little there were cigarettes all over the house, the smell was unbearable and my brother was always hospitalized cause he has asthma. It’s heartbreaking to see what nicotine does to people, and I’m really really glad that you’re 177 days free from it. I’m proud of you and love you. ♥️
