i got my phone taken because im depressed and i talked to my friend instead of my parents, but whenever i talk to them its always “my fault” that i’m depressed. oh yeah whoops let me balance the chemicals that i can’t control in my brain. my bad guys. then i asked to stay home today because i need a mental health day and my dad goes “you’re only ever depressed when you don’t have your phone”. no lmao, yall only see that im depressed when i don’t have my phone. they act like they weren’t in the room to see the scans of my brain and the chemical imbalance that causes me to experience more heavy depression, but no its my fault and im a liar because i brought it to their attention when i lost my phone. its always my fault. and they wonder why i don’t tell them shit. this is exactly why i dont say anything to them. because when i do talk all they do is complain. i asked for therapy, now all they do is complain and say “oh so talking to us wasn’t enough”, i asked them to stop comparing me to my friends because they know i struggle with doing certain tasks due to adhd but they can CLEARLY see me trying and they say that “im being soft” and that “i need to grow up”, they call me soft for having depression. like actually what the fuck did i do. so today im in my room this morning after my mom said i could stay home and my dad goes “you have her fucking fooled but you don’t have me fooled. i know you’re lying”. yep you caught me, the diagnoses are fake and the doctors were paid actors. and then they complained when i said i wanted to governors school for science and math because i love science and i want to go into a career in science. “oh we’d miss you” “oh we’re not ready for you to leave”. yeah because you guys enjoy yelling at me over everything and making my life hell.

@finneass Not everything has to with phones lol. If you were only depressed when you lost your phone, why were you talking to a friend about your problems in the first place o .o Makes no sense. Parent logic sometimes just doesnt exist.
