ABOUT.
“First Kill” is a supernatural teen drama series that premiered on Netflix in June 2022. The show is based on the short story of the same name by author V.E. Schwab, which was published as part of the anthology “Vampires Never Get Old: Tales with Fresh Bite.”
The series follows the story of Juliette Fairmont (Sarah Catherine Hook), a vampire who has just come of age and must make her first kill to fully embrace her destiny as a vampire. However, things get complicated when she sets her sights on Calliope Burns (Imani Lewis), a new girl in town who also happens to be a monster hunter from a long lineage of slayers. As they cross paths, both girls find themselves drawn to each other, leading them to question their loyalties and identities.
As the two navigate their complex relationship, they are pursued by various factions within their respective communities, including Juliette’s powerful vampire family and Calliope’s ruthless monster-hunting clan.
