Since we're all just making stories all of a sudden, here's one I didn't finish making 2 months ago

Gazing upon the vast dark, dotted with little specs of white; the giant orb up above. Its light was gentle, it didn’t hurt my precious flesh or burn my nearly blind eyes.
The landscape down below the very ledge I have sat myself, grassy and full of plant life, the big pool of water which often appeared to be steaming… Oh, how I dislike the taste of that water. I have never been able to grasp how other beings drink from it and thrive. I often see things come to my mountain to soak in the natural sauna. It was warm, I understood… But the cold of night always felt better to me.
A grumbling noise from the pit of my stomach brought attention to me. Perhaps tonight would be a good night for a hunt. Fortunately for the creatures below me, sleeping, who appear to believe they are hidden from my sight, my last hunt has yet to rot. Tonight was a good night… A night that would, for once, allow me to laze around in my mountainous den. It was a small corpse, however, and it was especially easy to snatch up and bring home. A little rabbit; a small feast, but a good one. I nudge it with the edge of my dark snout, shifting the limp corpse a few times as I attempt to find a good place to bite into the tender flesh. after rolling it onto its stomach, I sink my fangs into the belly, releasing my bite only to observe as blood pours from the bite-marks. It was like stabbing a runny-yolk egg with a fork and watching the yolk bleed out… I take a moment to lick up the sweet, red nectar, before tearing open the stomach and ripping out the intestine, slurping up the organ like a noodle.
