Chapter three - The Screams.
Zachary woke up, hearing loud screams. He looked around for Dawn
“Dawn?! Dawn?!”
He looked around, trying to get up with another exlamation in pain. He looked at the nails dug into his wrists, which he completley forgot about. He forgot about everything. He just screamed, pulling on the chains. The nails dug deeper into his flesh, but he didn’t care. He just wanted freedom, blood covering his clothes, and the floor.
He heard the door opening, looking around to see a man in a clean, white, and neat suit. He unchained Zachary, pulling him out of the room
“Am i being let go?!” Zachary exclaimed, hopeful he might finally get out of that hellhole.
“Silence, 589.” The suspicious man said, dragging him into a room with a padlock on it, opening it. He threw Zachary into it, locking the door.
Zachary thudded on the ground, looking at his bloody wrists. He finally snapped, bursting down into tears.
“Can you shut up? It’s getting hella annoying. Besides, they’re letting Anomaly in at morning. I’d like to die with some good rest, at least.” Dawn snapped, tapping Zachary with a used water bottle
“What- when did you get in here?”
“I’ve been here the whole time, idiot. you’ve been in your sob story and haven’t noticed me. So much for being smart.”
She said, looking at the wall and crossing her arms“I’m sorry?! There’s holes in my wrists, and i’m covered in my own blood.”
“And?! What are you, ten? Man up.”
Zachary looked insulted, but didn’t say any more.
Dawn scoffed, looking at Zachary. She was tired and annoyed.
“Now shut up before they let anomaly in earlier.”
She sat on the floor, facing the wall. Dawn hated knowing she was going to die in less than a day- in less than seven hours. She hated all of this. She hated how she had to let go, stop trying. She knew nothing well would come out of it.
Chapter Four - Anomaly.
Chained up, The men in white let the poor creature inside their cell, ushering it to hurry up.
