(non-human) character that they can sometimes act like as some sort of like coping mechanisim
please do not confuse copinglinks with therians.Therian: a person who emotionally physically or mentally identifies as an animal, or
Otherkin: Similar to therians. otherkin identify physically or mentally as some sort of mythilogical animal, like unicorn, dragon, fairies, gryffins, and more.
THERIANS OR OTHERKIN CANNOT CHOOSE TO BE WHO THEY ARE
Copinglinks are completley by choice and can get rid of a copinglink any time

What are the points of therians? Why would you identify as an animal? You can’t do the same things animals do and at the end of the day you sit down and eat normal food, sleep on a normal bed inside a normal house, what causes people to think it’s okay to play dress up like an animal? I don’t understand these things, I believe it should be shunned for such acts.

just as you have the choice to support therians/furries, others have the choice not to and as long as they aren’t calling you names and slurs its not a problem. we cant force everyone to accept our beliefs and what we support and people would be wrong for trying to force us not to support, so, why would you try to force them? now im not defending anyone im just simply stating everyone has a choice and that maybe we should accept peoples beliefs and leave it alone.
i personally support it because its not my business what others do but thats a personal choice. so like i said be respectful of peoples beliefs and choice to support or not support these communities.
