I think it might be because Time Machine is an introduction to the most useless gimmick in GD (Mirror portal) and other than that it’s just a triple spike spam, which I guess judging by how much attempts it took you to beat it means you have some skill in jumping over triple spikes.
Jumper is more of like a fast-paced level(?) that requires fast reaction and knowledge of when and where to jump.
And as for Cycles maybe it’s harder for you because the ball game mode might’ve been pretty confusing to master.
Quite surprised you think it’s easier, Time Machine is pretty hard because a clear majority suck on the triple spikes, and who can blame them? They’re quite annoying.

for you the slightly “harder” one is easier, whereas it could be different for other people
it’s a rhythm game which is music-centered and everyone handles music differently which I contribute to be the main cause of skill in games like geometry dash

bankedboxbox I think, like I said, it has to do with how you handle certain gimmicks of the game. You could be good at jumping over small obstacles that come your way really quickly but suck at jumping over larger ones that come your way slowly.
Time-machine introduces the mirror portal which doesn’t do anything besides reversing the direction your playcharacter goes, and other than that, it’s just jumping over triple spikes.
Jumper, however, has easier hurdles and jumps but they come at you quickly and you need to have extremely good reaction and skill where you can and cannot jump.

bankedboxbox The reason I find Time Machine easier is because the annoying triple spikes can be easy to get used to, atleast for me. While it had easier flying segments, Jumper however has that one part where your ship is inverted way more often than in the last part of Time machine. And Jumper had more illusions imo
