I’d suggest listening to The Smiths or The Cure as some starter bands. Depending on which band you personally like, it’ll help you discover new artists in that realm as well as what you just naturally gravitate towards :),

@sexyyking Oh that’s cool! It doesn’t quite matter to me which type of older alternative music, so I’ll try to listen to The Smiths or The Cure in my freetime. I don’t believe I listen to a whole lot of alternative music, but maybe I have? I like a lot of different genres, so I could easily like quite a few alt songs.
