Eli looked up, “Oh hello there.”
Carefully, he laid the book on the coffee table, got up, and walked out of the house as if he was walking on a runway. Harley started breathing out a sigh of relief. However, Eli stopped in the doorway, his hair covering his eyes as he looked down at the ground. In his deep cold voice, he said, “Page 24. ‘Love is the only cure.’ ” Then walked out of the house closing the door quietly behind him.

Seems like there’s too little detail when needed, and unnecessary detail when not needed.
