Recently, theres been a lot of posts about opinions asking for other peoples opinions which is great but I also see a lot of people getting backlash for these opinions, not so great.
If you ask someone to be honest with you and then you get mad when they’re honest with you, thats not their fault. I am brutally honest and ppl attack a lot of people for having opinions. It’s uncalled for and unjust, it just creates drama, drama that we don’t need anymore of. Just let people have opinions, if you ask for it and they’re brutally honest, thats your fault and you have to take it. While its not always right to be that candid, some people are without realizing it, and ganging up on them and attacking them for saying an opinion isn’t right or justifiable, in my opinion, it should be a bannable cause. This site should be safespace where peoples opinions feel valued, and I know thats a stupid ask because its the internet but a more realistic one is, stop ganging up on people for stating an opinion. It’s not your job to be the opnion police and tell people what their opinion should be because. Not everyones gonna have the same view as you and thats okay but theres a better way to handle having different opinions than calling people names and attacking them rather than attacking their claim. I’m honestly tempted to drop a link to how to have a strong argument, and attacking the person is not okay. The opinion? Thats… debatable, but the person is completely and totally unacceptable. So, heres the moral of this post
hop off of peoples dicks and accept peoples opinions. Is it really gonna matter 10 years from now what a random person on the internet said? Probably not.TLDR: Stop asking people for their opinions and then attacking them for it.
My fingers hurt so imma stop here but you get the point.
