Volunteering is amazing for your body and mind. The social interactment can help with your well-being in general. You can release stress by have connections with fellow volunteer’s. Working with animals can reduce stress also. Volunteering can even help boost self confidence. ‘HelpGuide.org,’ even states that, “You are doing good for others and the community, which provides a natural sense of accomplishment…the better you feel about yourself, the more likely you are to have a positive view of your life and future goals.” It can even help volunteer’s have lower blood pressure, ‘HelpGuide.org,’ again declares that, “… and have better thinking skills. Volunteering can also lessen symptoms of chronic pain and reduce the risk of heart disease.” As you can see, volunteering can help you body and mind! -
