little situation in band /nsrs just a vent

Okay so theres these 2 people, a 9th grader and a 7th grader, and it all started back in October. One of my section leaders and their boyfriends broke up right, the boyfriend was abusive and stuff but thats a whole story in and of itself. the 9th grader, she got wind of it, and immediately started spreading rumors. Skipping ahead, the 9th grader gets wind of me and my friend, how I became section leader at the middle school. She immediately tries to pin the fact of my friend being mad at me on them, which they weren’t they were happy for me because they don’t like being in charge. So you can see a pattern, they like drama. A LOT. The 7th grader, they like being a “player” and talking to 4-5 girls at one time to say they have a whole lot of “bitches” or whatever.

So today, another friend, liked the 7th grader and they started talking about 2 months ago. But there was another girl and they’d been talking for longer. So this weekend, the other girl asked the 7th grader what they were, he said he didn’t know, she asked him out, he said yes. He didn’t tell my friend that. So the next day, my friend asks him out and he said “I really like you but I didn’t wanna hurt you but now I have a gf.” Which she was cool with because they’d been talking for much longer than them. They stayeed friends but the 7th grader started telling everyone them and their business. So eventually my friend got sick of it and sstopped talking to him but he’s like obsessed with her. She cries over him because he just makes her so mad with what he did. She doesn’t like having the whole school in her business and that sorta shit yk.

The 9th grader plays into this because they’d been telling people a story, they said that she askerd him to cheat for him but I’ve seen the texts and thats NOT what she did, she asked hiim out unknowningly of his girlfriend. So basically, attention seeking shit, they just wanted to cause drama and discord and chaos between the band, anyway, shes been overthrown as leader of the section and now theres no way shes gonna be section leader.

So all that to say, don’t date in middle school it just causes issues and it never lasts <3
