As is clear to any regular mpp.community user, there is a lot of hate going around. That’s why we need YOU to make a change for the better!
As of today, Duchess and I are starting a movement For the Better here on MPP.The main idea is that we all practice civility, and kindness in all our posts and comments. No more hatred, bullying, name calling, or insults from any party.
The foreseeable problem with this is that just telling other people to be nicer and more kind won’t work.
That’s why we ask YOU to make the change.

Sorry, I don’t mean to offend but this reminds me of when I was in elementary and they would say “we can’t just make everyone follow the rules, but we need YOU to make a change! Play your part and follow the rules children (:*” -
I realize that asking other people to be nicer doesn’t work, so other people have to step up to be the kind person that they want to see in the community. I just want to see us grow and be happy. A lot of us have been through many years together. And I think we can all agree that we are pretty tired of the way things have been going. I don’t want anybody to give up on the community. At least for the sake of the newer members. MPP has too big of a place in my heart to let it go. I know many of you have met your best friends from here. So let’s honor that by coming together and making a positive difference for everyone to enjoy the years to come.

But with everything you and duchess have said, I agree. I think we should stop all this name calling, repeatedly bothering people for simply giving their opinions, and more. It’s honestly becoming twitter due to how much drama there is everyday, also. The downvoting. People have to stop abusing that god damn button, they downvote every post someone makes just cause they don’t like them, thats hella fucked up in my opinion. If we have a limit for each day to upvote a person, why don’t we have a limit to downvote a person? We can only upvote 20 times a day, and only upvote 6 times a user, but we can downvote as much as we want, I don’t think that makes sense. But this is just my opinion. -
