I'm bored so here's something random

@Fluffy-Espresso Well how come you can only find joy when youâre dating someone? Donât you think thatâs an issue as well?
-
@Duchess idk anymore tbh
-
@Fluffy-Espresso Do you love yourself?
-
@Duchess not really- sometimes I do-
-
@Fluffy-Espresso Well if you donât really always love yourself, nor can find joy on your own, youâre relying way too much on a partner to fill in those spaces in. You canât expect love when you donât really love yourself.
-
@Duchess oh
-
@Duchess i surprisingly still am with someone and i dont love myself at all tbh.
-
@xay-is-hot-stfu Well that definitely could cause future situations because thereâs more to just saying you love yourself. Thereâs actions that you do/say that show you and others that you donât love yourself. Like when you put yourself down, it can make your partner feel bad as well because then your partner has to tell you otherwise. Your partner is there to love you, and not there to love you twice as much to make up for you not loving yourself. It really is a difficult thing to do, though. Donât get me wrong. It might not feel like not loving yourself does anything to anyone else, but simple unloving actions towards yourself can actually do something in the long run. It might not be a big deal to your partner the first time, second, third time you do an unloving action towards yourself, but it can actually get exhausting in a longer-term relationship. You kind of have to catch yourself when you say/do something unloving towards yourself. Hurting yourself can actually hurt others who love you because who wants to see you not love yourself? Itâs hard to see. Or even simply know your donât love yourself.

@Fluffy-Espresso skill issue
-
Goofbreadđđ¸ mental issue*
-
@Duchess completely true. Your happiness coming from one person is not fair to that person because now itâs their responsibiltiy also. So if you canât love yourself, you canât truly love others.
-
@Hexed-To-Death plus it is crystal clear you are not entirely fit to be in a relationship right now. Just enjoy your solitude while it lasts because relationships are tiring and a big thing to deal with. I can speak on that note, Iâve been in 6, Including the one Iâm in now. Even if we are extremely healthy, there are still times when you feel like you messed up, or you guys will argue, and you have to learn to be ready to take on that mental weight, and know when to come together and work things out. Itâs heavy shit, but not being emotionally available for any of it can extremely damage you.

@Galaxy-The-Dog same though-

@Galaxy-The-Dog :(

@Galaxy-The-Dog You will find someone eventually, it takes time and patience and in the end of all that waiting it is truly worth it, trust me
