There’s an interesting part of the Bible, when Jesus was dying on the cross, He said “My God, my God, why have you abandoned me?”
I bring this up not because I’m trying to say God also abandoned Jesus, because he didn’t really. What happened is that Jesus took on all of the guilt for our sins, and God could no longer look upon Him (somewhere in the book of Habakkuk it mentions that. Habakkuk is a good book if you feel abandoned by God in general though!)
When God stopped looking upon Jesus, He felt the weight and the guilt of every sin ever, and one can only imagine the emotional pain of that, along with His humanness being entirely disconnected from God.I’m not sure what the point of my reply here is, but. Jesus made His sacrifice so God would never abandon anyone ever again.

Finn, Jesus will provide sometimes you have to go through things to get to a point where God is your only option. God never abandoned you, Although it may seem like but it you just are going through a trial right now. James 1;2-4 says Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. So I can assure you that God didn’t abandon you He is testing your faith.
