Long ago, a story was whispered among shadows, one of uncertainty and fear, yet it was the last hope the people had left.
So, they waited for centuries…32 centuries later…
Fae stood there, menacingly glaring at Terra with a rage-filled gleam in her blue eyes.
“Enlighten me with your thoughts, Terra, why did thoust kill mine bretheren? Out of rage? Selfishness? Did thy wish to see thine world burn before thy feet?”
Across from Fae was Terra, drenched in elven blood from head to toe. “I hath done it because thoust bretheren was in thee direction of thine objective, and I truly do not wish for anything to stopeth the quest at hand.”
Terra seemed determined, yet Fae only smiled at her words.
“I laugh! Doth thou sincerely contain those wretched thoughts? Lord Stilus never truly said you were thee hero!”
As the words rolled out of Fae’s mouth, Terra was taken aback by the possibility that her entire quest had been a lie. “THOUST WORDS DO NAY HARM, FAE! I truly know thee quest hath not been in vain!”
Fae chuckled slightly. “Doth thou be certain about thy beliefs, Terra?”
Terra Unsheathed her sword, readying for combat. “I DEDICATED MINE OWN LIFE TO THY CAUSE! TO HEAL THEE EARTH AND SAVE ALL WHOM ENHABIT IT!”
With another small chuckle, Fae stepped forward towards the sword-wielding hero and smirked. “Why wouldeth thoust desire to save thee world that ripped thy parents from thou, Terra? Courage…? or maybe ignorance… Who shalt know thy accomplishments when thoust world crumbles beneath thee hands of thine enemy?”
“Spare me thoust heroics, Terra, thou nay even be from this rubbish planet.”
These words made Terra almost jump out of her boots. She wasn’t from earth?
“Thoust lying from thy rear, Cloverfield child, For I am thee hero of thy lands!”
Fae’s expression turned into one of seriousness as the air became stagnant around the duo.
“Thy aren’t thee hero. Thy hast becometh what thoust sworn had defeaten five months prior.”Meanwhile, Leroy the deer boy was searching in the library for ways that could get him back to his dimension
“Come on… it has to be somewhere…” He whispered to himself while scouring the shelves for anything that might be useful. A librarian approached Leroy, asking “Hey, what are you looking for? You’ve been in here for five hours and it’s almost closing time.”
Leroy quickly responded with “Books.” Which was a plain and simple answer to a complex question. The librarian gave him a bewildered look, but allowed Leroy to continue his search.
“Aha! There it is!” Leroy shouted, getting quickly shushed by nearby people in the library. “Sorry…“ He said.
The small deer boy yanked a book off of a shelf titled ‘The 7 Realms [and how to travel between them] By Mistius Silvester’, and sat down with it at a table. Leroy began his research, writing down notes on a small notepad full of sketches.Terra was taken aback by Fae’s harsh words. “WE WERE MEANT TO TRAVERSE THEE REALMS TOGETHER, FAE! WHAT HAPPENED?!”
Fae put her hand on Terra’s shoulder, “Violence hath beckoned to thee, Terra, but thoust were not supposed to pick up thee teleprompter.” Tears were brought into Terra’s eyes as she realized what she’d done. Fae kept explaining everything to her.
“Terra, I beg of you… Stop galloping into thee dark. I care about thou, and it would indefinitely sting to witness thy scars deepen towards thoust core.”
As soon as Terra had put her weapon back in its holster, Fae had stabbed directly through her core with a sharpened arrow. Terra’s blood ran down from the open wound as she stared in disbelief at her false companion.
“Fae… I thought thoust would aid in thee fight… But why haveth I been betrayed in such a gruesome manner?” Terra spoke, but Fae only twisted the arrow deeper into Terra’s stomach wound.
“If thou beliefs contain thee image that thy ist a heroine… THEN THOUST SHALT DIE LIKE ONE!”Leroy had finished his research, and as he picked up his magical weapon, he left just as quickly as he had arrived, into a portal to the main realm, however as he got there, he saw his companions Terra and Fae, who did not notice him. “What the hell…?”
Terra hacked up blood, glaring at her former companion. “Thee end of mine road hath arrived… and I shalt apologize for what I hath done to thou and thy other companion, Leroy Silvester. Soon he shalt return, and I hope thy dreams truly do come to a truth.”
Then, Terra dropped to the floor and closed her eyes one final time.
Leroy stared at the duo.
“Why are you guys talking like that? Are you reciting that weird Owl Cabin book again?”
Fae looked at Leroy, trying not to let a smile creep across her elven face. “Well…”
Holding up broken ketchup packets, Terra shouted “I’M OKAY!”
With a chuckle, Leroy took the packets and threw them away. “Weirdos…” He stated, yet Fae responded quickly “Hey, someday you’ll be part of one of these plays! Just you wait!”
He looked at Fae, smugly smiling. “Yeah right, like I’m ever going to be in a book. I’ll see you both tomorrow, I need to get some rest…”
And so, the curtains drew to a close. -
“Hey kid wanna wiener in you mouth,”
