4bd0f934-0125-4472-ac59-0d1cede93da3-image.png It started off as a series about a Korean teenager named Daniel Park. He lived with his mom and was actually rather poor. His mother always did her best to make him happy, but sometimes that wasn’t enough for him. He was fat and ugly and he’d get bullied and tormented for it, unable to escape the never-ending judgement. He’d take this anger out on his mother, but he never really meant the mean things he’d say to her. He loves his mother and really, genuinely does regret the things he’d say. One day, he gets tired of the bullying and asks his mom for permission to move out and for the money to get a low-price house somewhere else so he can go to a different school.
In that very house, he wakes up one morning in a different body but in the same house. This body was tall, well-built and attractive. With this second body, he was able to achieve things he’s never been able to do before. People actually liked him. But when it comes down to it, it’s not because they thought he’d be nice. They didn’t care about whatever his personality would end up being like; they only liked him because he was attractive in their point of view.
However, as the story progresses, so many other things happen. It went from a story of how looks really matter and the effects of bullying and the things it can cause. But it’s more than that; it really opens your eyes and gives you a good view of so much more than bullying, self-hatred and judgement. It goes into gangs, gang wars, stalking, murder, and it has some incredibly realistic points of views.

It goes into the stories and backgrounds of so many other characters except Daniel, and really makes you feel for other characters and what happened to lead them to where they are.

If this interests you, please give it a read! There’s action, romance, and more common than not, some well-needed comedy.
