This girl Aniyah I used to live with when I was about 6-8(maybe 9) years old lol. And her grandma, Brenda. She actually didn’t live there for a while, just visiting with her mom sometimes. I loved it when she was over there because she was entertaining especially since she was younger than me but sometimes she’d get me in trouble just because she doesn’t like being told what to do. :/

So like, one day, her grandma tells me that she’s about to go somewhere and to watch Aniyah and I notice she tells her not to mess with the glass dolphin decoration that’s on the shelf. Later, after she left, I see Aniyah messing with it, and I tell her to stop. So she gets upset that I told her not to do something knowing she’s not allowed to, and when her grandma gets back, she tells her grandma that I was telling her what to do, and her grandma Brenda actually gets mad at me for doing what she fucking told me to do and said “Don’t tell my granddaughter what to do1!11!”

      TL;DR: fuck you brenda

@Calistaa Honestly, that would make me extremely angry. Even years later I’d be stewing xD. Thinking of what I’d do in these situations get me all riled up. Little kids always seem to know which strings to pull to get what they want when they want it. And a huge string they pull is getting older kids in trouble. How do people even believe little kids more than the more experienced and older one? It still baffles me why people would take the little kid’s side in an instant despite kids being known to lie/twist the truth to suit their narrative. Kids are smart. But they’re only smart because they make disobedient mistakes all the time. Always taking your kid/grandkid’s side without knowing the situation on both sides could easily teach them entitlement. And they’ll realize what they can do to get out of trouble. Eg, steering the fact that they disobeyed the granny to you “telling them what to do.”
