@513 thatâs such a stupid reason. Like fr. You brought me in but I didnât ask to be brought in. Itâs parents that hit their children and act like theyâre in the right who piss me off more than most. Parents should not hit their kids. And fuck some parents shouldnât have kids. Ik some are accidents. I get that mistakes can be made. Iâve been there I almost had a kid myself. But even so I would never even dream of blaming the kid for my actions. Itâs unfortunate to see the state of some people. And people like that who hit their kids, abuse their families, and whatever else. Those are who disgust me

@Cyx honestly thatâs the first Iâve heard that excuse. But hereâs the thing. My parents are divorced. theyâve been divorced since before I could even walk. But theyâve never hit me. My dad popped me on the leg once because I got kinda violent and he felt like shit about it for weeks. I donât get why parents think abusing their kid is a good idea. Like I fucked up and had him/her. . . Must be their fault. Some people are fortunate like me to have good parents. And some arenât. But the fact is that they hit you not that theyâre married or whatever tf.

@Cyx emotional abuse is my momâs first language though. She loves treating me like shit. But she doesnât hit me⌠she does a little bit but itâs not too serious I guess. Idk my gf nearly called cps on my mom when she found out about that so.

Abuse though is still abuse. Yes youâre lucky you have married parents. Not because theyâre married but because a lot of parents arenât. But that alone shouldnât make up for being hurt by anyone. If I punched and bullied you then turned around and said âcyx youâre lucky I didnât hit you more because you have two parentsâ how would that make up for the fact that I beat the piss out of you -

@Cyx Two married parents can be a dynamic duo of two clinically diagnosed psychos who mentally & emotionally abuse you daily. Yeah, married parents have a better rate of childhood success, but itâs not the key to having a good childhood. And it doesnât mean youâre ungrateful for what you have, either. Emotional abuse is a thing. Itâs such a shame when people pull the âbe grateful for what you haveâ kind of cards. Iâm sure youâre grateful you donât live in some 3rd world country and donât have clean water. But nobody uses that as leverage as to why you shouldnât complain someone got your drink order at Red Robin wrong.

Right? Itâs so messed up how some parents think they can just do whatever they want and no one can stop them because theyâre âthe parents.â Could you believe a police officer told my dad that âby lawâ as long as you arent left black and blue, they canât do anything. Thatâs messed up, and honestly, Iâm not sure if thatâs âby law.â I need to be a lawyer for family/children or something.
@Cyx I remember some of how you felt about your mom and I really wish I could help you succeed out of that house. Itâs so sad how kids have 0 say, 0 power, and 0 way to escape abusive households. I want to help people like that but I have 0 means.

@Duchess itâs alright, a lot of people want to help me but thereâs not much anyone can do. And really, itâs just her word against mine considering sheâs a narc, a liar, and would never want anyone to think badly of her, or for anyone to find out the truth
