When your mom tries using this excuse:
-
@Cyx @513 my heart goes out to y’all. Even if it’s only minor abuse. I still hate it
-
@I_Løve_Zøf they’ve never abused me. It’s other people in my life that have that my mom doesn’t give a fuck about
-
@Cyx emotional abuse is my mom’s first language though. She loves treating me like shit. But she doesn’t hit me… she does a little bit but it’s not too serious I guess. Idk my gf nearly called cps on my mom when she found out about that so.
-
@Cyx well damn. I ranted about parental abuse 😂
Abuse though is still abuse. Yes you’re lucky you have married parents. Not because they’re married but because a lot of parents aren’t. But that alone shouldn’t make up for being hurt by anyone. If I punched and bullied you then turned around and said “cyx you’re lucky I didn’t hit you more because you have two parents” how would that make up for the fact that I beat the piss out of you -
@Cyx well mental abuse is another form of abuse soooooo CPS is a very useful tool

@I_Løve_Zøf my mom punches me
-
@maybenot-finneas damn that sucks. I really hate to hear that. You need to talk about it? If so I’m here
-
Cursed Cucumber you fr
-
@Cyx Two married parents can be a dynamic duo of two clinically diagnosed psychos who mentally & emotionally abuse you daily. Yeah, married parents have a better rate of childhood success, but it’s not the key to having a good childhood. And it doesn’t mean you’re ungrateful for what you have, either. Emotional abuse is a thing. It’s such a shame when people pull the “be grateful for what you have” kind of cards. I’m sure you’re grateful you don’t live in some 3rd world country and don’t have clean water. But nobody uses that as leverage as to why you shouldn’t complain someone got your drink order at Red Robin wrong.

@Duchess yeah fr.

It’s parents that hit their children and act like they’re in the right who piss me off more than most
Right? It’s so messed up how some parents think they can just do whatever they want and no one can stop them because they’re “the parents.” Could you believe a police officer told my dad that “by law” as long as you arent left black and blue, they can’t do anything. That’s messed up, and honestly, I’m not sure if that’s “by law.” I need to be a lawyer for family/children or something.
@Cyx I remember some of how you felt about your mom and I really wish I could help you succeed out of that house. It’s so sad how kids have 0 say, 0 power, and 0 way to escape abusive households. I want to help people like that but I have 0 means.
-
@Duchess it’s alright, a lot of people want to help me but there’s not much anyone can do. And really, it’s just her word against mine considering she’s a narc, a liar, and would never want anyone to think badly of her, or for anyone to find out the truth
-
@513 Thats what my mom and dad say,
even tho im adopted ._. seems like plain murder to me. -
@Cyx me: dramatically still continues to be traumatised
-
@Serco915 lmfao yeah
-
@Cyx lmao
-
@Cyx I know what you mean. Narc people are dangerous mentally. Have you considered actually researching how to deal with narcissists? There are many channels dedicated to toxic parents/relationships regarding narcissism. It’s very useful information on how to mentally protect yourself from that kind of abuse the best you can.

I hit back 😁
