damn i wish the one i went to was that nice, they just drugged me, made me feel high, didn’t leave me alone and fed me prison food. i was in really horrible conditions for two weeks and i hated every minute of it. but this one had lights, and you could color, and interact with the staff like they were like other people. im glad some places have that, i live in the south so i don’t get that luxury, most people here think mental health can be saved by praying it away, which i love that people love god and all, do you but, it doesn’t help. people pray for my mental health all the time and im still mentally unstable, im more stable than i have been in past times but still unstable. just thought i’d share. if yall want a full story of what i can remember (i was drugged so some of it is blurry), ill tell you, just ask. it’s not a trigger for me, i promise, i wouldn’t mind sharing.

there’s a mental hospital like 10 minutes away and it’s actually really nice, it’s pretty much like a hotel, they have like pools and a gym and a basketball court and everything. A lot of college people volunteer/work there and their really nice and chill. You can pretty much do whatever you want…unless you try to like…death yourself. Then you get put with a bunch of dogs and cats!!! And dw if your allergic cuz they have non allergenic dogs and naked cats!! Plus they have a garden center but you aren’t ever forced to work to clean or anything
