pov when your friend is dealing with a drunk parent

So me and my friend were at her house and some shit happend - she had asked her mom something and all of the sudden she had gotten mad and decided to get up point her finger in her face and when she pushed her finger away from her face - she got mad and threw a punch towards her head. And then she started non stop talking about how she wanted her daughter that she had just slapped “out of her fucking house” and that she wishes that she was 18 already so she could have a party when she leaves.

The sad part is that I was right there and witnessed the whole thing and tried to step in and stop her from hitting my friend… until she pushed me on the floor… while that wasn’t even enough …her husband had to step in and break it up before my friend’s mom and my friend starting throwing more punches…

She thinks that it’s appropriate to beat up her children. it’s not

it’s not cool

not funny

not smart

it’s NOTHING but downright stupid.

inappropriate and highly uncalled for.

I ever so badly wanted to beat the shit out of her because you DON’T fuck with my friend and THEN push me?

ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR FUCKING MIND?

But I’m not related to her so I left that to my friend…

we are having a party of three - me - gf - friend - discussing what we are going to do about/ what needs to be done / what should be done…
