i wrote this poem about a person and i thought i’d share it:

if i could make the stars disappear,
the world would still shine,
because of you.

your smile could guide the world
your smile cures my depression,
oh i’d draw you smiling,
but i couldn’t do your beauty justice.

oh my god your smile,
i could watch you smile for hours.

but i want to be there when you cry there
oh darling, let me dry your tears
and hold you while you’re at your worst
even the most beautiful people cry too.

and i don’t know what i did to deserve you,
but i’ll do it time and time again.
if it means you’ll be mine forever.

can i cry with you?
can i smile with you?
can i watch the stars with you?
can i be yours forever?
can i experience everything again with you?

He’ll take your eyes and seal up this nightmarish song
