@保志久美 Personally, I don’t think the Sephora Kids and Stanley Cup issues isn’t exactly the children’s fault. While yes these kids are the ones causing the problems, it’s super important to recognize they are after all, just kids.
I’ve noticed many people have been making fun of children in makeup stores (Including Gen Z). Through my eyes, it’s wrong. As us, the older generations shouldn’t be making fun of it. Yes what they’re doing is reeking havoc, we have to consider that they wouldn’t be there had they had the right influences. People aren’t born with a personality and habit, they pick up on them. The other day I was at Target and saw the sweetest 10 year old who asked me what skincare products I used. She was there with her parents and was super careful with everything in the makeup isle.
Gen Alpha isn’t the kindest, but they were raised with internet, which is mostly full of Gen Z. We are influencing them. Older siblings these years are horrible influences who teach their younger siblings to be rude and disrespectful (Guilty of that myself sometimes). Whether we don’t mean for them to pick up on it, we have to know to control ourselves around kids.
Of course the future of the world doesn’t rest upon people older, it’s all depends on the parent. I’ve noticed parents of disrespectful kids are snobby and lazy parents or they just aren’t around as much as they should. No matter how little you are, the absence of having a responsible parental figure will lead you to act out. I noticed you said they’re obsessed with technology, which I 100% agree with. But if you really think about it, they wouldn’t be if they had screen time rules enforced by the parents. No kid will be obsessed with something they can’t have access to. I think it’s important that we recognize that these kids are just trying their best to fit in, so rather than making fun of them and saying they’re in the wrong, we should be helping them know right and wrong.
This was longer than what I was originally gonna write but more to say kept popping into my head. And I hope you don’t think I’m being rude, maybe I am, but I was just hoping to shine some light and give these kids the benefit of the doubt. I do agree that this is unhealthy and something should be said. No kid should obsess over these kind of things.

Oh i’m sorry, I should’ve been clearer, I wasn’t referring to you. I was actually referring to teens on tiktok. If you search up Sephora kids on most social medias, you see horrible things being said.
