I need advice.

me and my bf got into a little bit of a fight and he said he needed a break from everything. I asked him if he and I were still together and he said yes. I’ve texted him messages Abt me being sorry and that I loved him but he hasn’t responded back to me on discord. He’s mostly been playing Roblox but I’m worried that things are gonna turn for the worse. Any advice?

@Cruel_summer_ Give him space for a bit, but not too much space to the point where it’s possible for him to grow distant. I say don’t bug him a lot, maybe a ‘good morning’, ‘goodnight’, and ‘I love/miss you’ every now and then. Don’t flood him with messages but don’t not message him at all. If you flood him he might think you’re clingy and annoying (No offense, just from experience) but if you don’t message him at all, he might drift away. If you already apologized, you should be fine to switch the topic a bit. Maybe send him a small funny story about you. Like for example, say you just tripped on a can in a store, you could message him and say “I just trapped on a can in the store lmao.” Hopefully he’ll see the messages and know that you actually miss him. An empty handed “I miss you” will never cut it, let him know you’re thinking of him.

♫Kensliegh㋛ I dont really believe in “needing a break” in a relationship because I feel like it’s either youre there or you’re not. It’s not something you stop and start whenever you feel good or not. You’re there despite the downs. If someone needs a break, it just doesnt sound like they’re ready for a relationship in the first place. If he really wants to still date you, he should stick it out and just talk to you about how he feels and about what’s going on in his life. You’re not there to wait for him to feel better, you’re there when he doesnt feel good, and he should allow himself to be with you through the ups and the downs. That’s what makes a relationship so solid anyways – the things you go through together.
