In crowded rooms, I stand alone,
A silent heart, a weary tone.
With every laugh, I feel the sting,
Lost in the notes of a song I can’t sing.

The world moves on, but I’m misplaced,
A fleeting shadow, love’s warm embrace.
I watch the smiles that light the day,
Yet in my chest, the warmth fades away.

Days turn to nights, and dreams distill,
A longing quiet, an empty thrill.
Though I reach out, the silence grows,
In the depths of solitude, nobody knows.
