I couldn't win

I showed you the hat I made for the hat contest the other day. (ıf you ask;)

But I couldn’t win. The worst part is that I’m not even in the top 6.

Actually, this doesn’t upset me. What upsets me is this;

Some of the top 6 hats were either very irregular, the colors didn’t match or they were too exaggerated.

Some of the top 6 hats weren’t made by their own labor, but by their families (I got help from my father for the hat skeleton, but the rest of the design, construction and measurements are mine)

In short, I’m a little upset about this.

But it’s okay. I’d rather lose by making a hat with my own labor, even if it’s plain, than by I won with cheating or making a hat that ruins the visual pleasure :/
