The Environment
Conserving the worldly resources we have can be the one generous act you can do. Caring about the place you live in is being generous to not only yourself but others too. The generation after us can physically see the beauty that we put in it today. You can plant a tree that generations can enjoy. All from one simple seed. That’s a prime example of generosity and how it can physically last.I know you’ve heard the talks teachers give on “turn off your lights when they’re not being used,” but it’s true! It is generous to your parents by helping to save money and energy. A lot of resources have an end. Lightbulbs burn out, and batteries drain. So make sure you think about that when you leave your lamp on all day, and how you can conserve that. Recycle papers and try to reuse items like jars and boxes for other things. That’s a great way to simply use what you have so you don’t have to waste other materials. In the long run, it really does help beautify the world. If the motivation isn’t for yourself, maybe it could be for the future children.
