If you care, read, if you don’t then don’t. I’m overwhelmed rn. I feel so distant from everyone like I’m just flaoting away. My depression in just falling on top of me, my work is piling up, I’ve been getting no sleep catching up on school work. I’m unfocused, my moms anger issues are getting worse, my dad can’t even really stop her anymore. i can’t handle my life anymore I’m going back to a suicidal state. I just need to talk to someone but no one listens its always. “You have a good life, be grateful.” Yes I live in a good place in a very nice neighborhood but no that doesn’t mean I’m not struggling. My guidance counselor won’t listen, my therapist, the person who TRULY cares, shes on maternity leave… I just need help.

@FinnyWinny Wow, I can’t believe how your guidance figures aren’t even helping you… Believe me, if someone’s struggling, they’re struggling. We deal with that on different levels. And what people think they see on the outside is more often than not vastly different than what they assume. It makes me sad when people say “be grateful.” It steamrolls people’s feelings / problems. Like, you can be grateful for things but also have struggles. And even if you don’t feel grateful, that’s understandable too! Sometimes we are in such a big rut, we don’t even know what we’re supposed to be grateful for…
