Penny was placed into Ruby’s head after being captured by the very scientists who experimented on Ruby. Penny was always there for Ruby, encouraging her when the going got tough. Two years before Ruby escaped the Mental Institute, Penny disappeared, and to this day, no one, not even Penny, knows what happened. Now, almost five years later, Penny lives with Ruby and her ward, Sen.
