In one of my classes we call everybody by last name

@Knoxzee I remember the culture shock when I heard people calling the teachers ONLY “Mr” and “Miss” instead of “Mrs Johnson” or something. It was so informal, I was scared the for the first kid I heard it from. I grew up in a school where they literally made a school announcement saying that everyone needed to say “Yes or no Mr/Mrs Johnson” and if you don’t it’s disrespectful. It felt so chill, yet it was considered normal.

@Duchess haha, in my school its pretty normal to call teachers either of those, but i was surprised i guess is the word. Or like if “oop” was an expression, a lot of the teachers in my school go by “Mx” or “Mxs” which is a non-binary/trans pronouns i guess even tho non-binarys dont have any-

@Duchess Im from the south so saying all the yes mam no mam yes sir no sir and please and thank and calling teachers Mr/Mrs whoever is really important so like when i moved more up east the kids in my class they call the teacher just “hey whoever” and i was like how did u not get in trouble

we didn’t even say each others name
we just pull them by their hair to get their attention. But if they dont have hair (like toxic) then we would just smash them against a wall until they understand
