@Boywithpiano No, Im saying when people say they “got a girlfriend” (especially when I know that person was literally just broke up with someone not long ago), it just seems like something people just want to have in their back pocket. And it just seems in the same context of saying you “got a hundred dollars.” Like it’s a flex, but it doesnt last. It sounds more like, “Look what I got” And. It sounds like something you’d say about an object to flex about. I am not saying you saw it that way, but I know people who have seen it as that, and it really annoys me.
