@Cozy-Talk I meant to post this yesterday since I try to make a commitment of doing this every Monday (not that anyone’s going to hold me to it but myself lol). Lately I’ve been feeling pretty inspired. Tree showed me this one person on YouTube named Dr. K and I plan on making another post about that later becuase there’s a specific video I’d love to share/talk about. It really reminded me about the things people in this community have shared with me that they feel.
What’s the most inspirational thing you’ve ever heard, and where is it from?
One of the least likely places I’d think would say something inspirational was the cartoon “Strawberry Shortcake.” I was overhearing my little sister watching the show about a year ago and there was this quote from an episode I’ll never forget. One of the characters was leaving the town because it seemed no one liked them anymore so Strawberry told them, “This is the place where you are welcomed even when you ware out your welcome – because you are loved.”

It inspired me to be nice and kind even if i don’t have to and to always help other because it is the right thing to do and the person you may have helped could’ve been having a bad day and you may never know it but they do and they will think about what you did for the rest of the day. and you yourself will feel so great because you helped them and it really does make you feel like a superhero :) -
i was inspired to not wash my hair every day by an anime called fairytale ._.
this one weird character said that washing your natural hair oils out too much can damage your hair and that sometimes its better to just get it wet

I am inspired to improve myself and my living situation so that my younger siblings can have a better life than me.🫠

My inspiration comes from Dr. Seuss and other people. As a kid, I loved those books and I felt like I was living with them inside that book. It also was a get away from my reality when I was younger due to trauma, abuse, and stress from my family. Other people who are doing great things for themselves also inspired me because I want to achieve greatness just like them and live a happy life with people who love and care about me.

@Cyx but I was inspired by my dad to keep working hard and never give up and care for those you love and make sure you also feel cared for in the process

When I was in the 5th grade, my 5th grade math teacher miss boys told me that I was gonna do great things in life and I’ve always wanted to make her proud and then my 6th grade ELA teacher miss palmer she told me that she was waiting to see my name on a news article doing something great

@Ryleigh Some people help others for their own sake to feel good about themselves, but the real heroes are who help for the sake of making others feel happy. Interestingly, I see people struggling with something, and they end up helping others going through the same thing. I feel like there are two reasons for that. One, that person helps someone who’s in the same boat as them because they subconsciously wish they had help (there are actual disorders that do this very thing). And two, someone takes their experience with that struggle and uses it to help others. Which, I’d say is more healthy.
@513 Honestly, I feel like my hair would be so dry if I washed it daily. I heard about not washing your hair daily too. I still try to use leave-in though.

I don’t really get inspired, but to keep me going, I always say, “I’m doing this for my cats, I want them to have a good future, it’ll all be worth it in the end”

One quote that I think about a lot is from an Animal Crossing character named Resetti. He said, “Where’s the satisfaction of cheating through life? Take everything as it comes. In its own time. Enjoy it all.”
There’s lots of inspiration that comes from Animal Crossing characters but that one stuck with me. -
