For controling partners
-
I got an ad for snoopy/distrusting partners. Honestly, if you don’t trust your partner that much, talk to them about it or break up. No need to be nosey. That makes you untrustworthy.

@Duchess ooo lemme get that imma check my moms number

@omgitsfinneas LOL
-
@omgitsfinneas but all jokes aside thats real because trust is the foundation of a relationship and if you have to go through your partners texts/dms to feel like they’re not cheating you guys need to break up because thats unhealthy as fuck and you’re just as bad if you don’t give them privacy
-
@omgitsfinneas Chances are, when someone’s snooping in your business, they’re just going to try harder to be sneaky because they don’t trust you lol (especially in a parent/child scenario)
-
@Duchess Exactly!! Thats why being overly strict as a parent never works in your favor, kids with strict parents are usually the sneakiest. Same with partners, people with helicopter partners usually tend to be more sneaky about things
-
@omgitsfinneas to add onto that, the “oh well its not them i dont trust, its other people” is bullshit too. you should trust your partner, someone you’re supposed to value, trust, appreciate and love, to be able to handle situations where other people are being like that to them because i know some people say that and to me thats just such a bs excuse, like i get being protective because i can be too but theres a point where protective turns into unhealthy helicoptering over your partner.

Exactly. If you actually did trust your partner, you wouldnt worry about everyone else becuase you know your partner wouldnt do anything they shouldnt anyways.
