I’m becoming a Lady Gaga fan…
DUN DUN DUUUUUUUNNNN!!!
‘The Fame’ is Lady Gaga’s debut album and, for a debut album- fuck it- for an album in GENERAL, it’s fucking great. Being a pop album in 2008, there’s gonna be synths fatter than Nikocado Avocado and I love it every single time they pop up. Does that mean the album aged a bit? Yeah, of course. The amount of autotune on Gaga’s voice sometimes makes it sound a bit weird because… you can already sing. Why do you need it? It’s not ALL OVER the album and it’s not that much of a problem, it’s just weird to me. Of course, there are times where it’s done purposefully like the track ‘Starstruck’ which features Flo Rida and Space Cowboy. Aside from that, every song here is fucking amazing, and even when the album dips in quality, worst case scenario is the track score going from a 10 to an 8, which is still amazing how the lowest score I gave ANY song on this album was an 8.1/10.0. Overall, The Fame, while a bit outdated, although oddly nostalgic in terms of sound, still is one of the best albums of it’s time. 8.75 out of 10. Can’t believe that the best thing that I’ve listened to this year didn’t even come out this year.SCORE: 8.75/10.0
