I’m doing my best to try to get away from you
With every attempt I try, there you are in the back of my mind
I’m expecting the worst, I guess it’s just my pessimistic eyes
Glass half empty kind of guy, afflicted with a boring and dull life
What a shock, I’m not as interesting as you
Who would of thought, can’t pull the same weight that you do
I know when I feel alright, and I know It’s just due time

Can I go down in infamy, this pessimistic side of me

I could break a leg so I could stay home for a long time
If I shed some skin I’d have nothing left on my end
That’s not a euphemism, it’s just something I’ve noticed so give it to someone much more devoted to it
