It was a horrible day for our little pearl—White Pearl Cookie, she was scolded for not listening to her older sisters due to her exploring further away from the Tearcrown Borders. She was fuming bad outside in her chambers, fiddling her hands; “Why can’t I explore the deep seas…? I’m also a gem mermaid like them! Just because I’m still little doesn’t mean I need someone’s help, I’m a big mermaid!” She sighs after her sentence, looking down at her hands before tearing up abit, “I’m a big mermaid too… they always exclude me in their fun adventures…!” She crosses her arms, sitting on a coral trying to pass the time before looking above—something was… up there…?

The currents seemed to be strong today, and it seems like the current was carrying someone along. White Pearl squints as she notices the creature that was carried along—a Jellyfish! She quickly widen her eyes, looking around. “Oh no… that Jellyfish looks unconscious… but… my sisters would scold me again if I attempt to go up there and try getting it…” She hesitates, looking at the jellyfish slowly drifting away before shaking her head and following along the Jellyfish, trying to reach for it before successfully doing so—she manages to trip (for some odd reason) and fall down the soft sand. “Ah, I got you little Jellyfish!” She chuckles to herself, looking at the little Jellyfish.

The Jellyfish squirms abit—suddenly it morphs into a more cookie-like form, just like White Pearl. “EEK!” White Pearl screams before returning to her calm posture, she observes the Jellyfish. “…Where am I? The currents are supposed to be above, not below…” The Jellyfish sighs, before looking at White Pearl—it blinks before slowly cleaning the sand off White Pearl. “Hey.! What are you doing…?” White Pearl asks, surprised by the sudden kind gesture the Jellyfish was giving her. “Don’t worry, I’m just cleaning you!” The Jellyfish replies, smiling with joy. White Pearl, smiles back at her before holding the Jellyfishes hand. “My name’s White Pearl Cookie! I’m a gem mermaid, you aren’t from around here aren’t you.?” White Pearl slightly wags her tail, wanting to befriend the Jellyfish. “…Frilled Jellyfish Cookie, I was only aimlessly following the currents you see.”

White Pearl tilts her head, not getting what Frilled Jellyfish meant by that—she brushes it off before trying to drag Frilled Jellyfish “Come, Come! We can play games around Tearcrown!” White Pearl giggles off, holding Frilled Jellyfish—Frilled Jellyfish, with no option to just follow the playful gem mermaid, “What’s a Tearcrown.?” Frilled Jellyfish asked curiously, White Pearl stops in her tracks before looking at Frilled Jellyfish. “Well, it’s a kingdom! A really beautiful big one. I know places we can play in there!” She continues to drag on Frilled Jellyfish on the arm—they finally arrive at one of the Places of Tearcrown, White Pearl quickly goes inside one of the tiny nooks. “This is a perfect spot for hiding, my sisters would never know!” She giggles, looking at Frilled Jellyfish. “I have alot of sisters… but they always seem to be strict, especially Crimson Coral Cookie.” She pouts a little—crossing her arms, Frilled Jellyfish giggles by the gesture. “Well… she is your sister, maybe you should listen…” she leans in towards White Pearl, fiddling her hands. “Listen? I already did, so many times! I know she wanna protect me but… I’m a big mermaid—not a little one, I promise!” White Pearl holds onto Frilled Jellyfishes hand, Frilled Jellyfish lightens her face up before replying. “Don’t worry, I’ll believe you!” Frilled Jellyfish smiles, rubbing White Pearls hand.

“Really…?” White Pearl gasps a little—she never expected to be believed. “Of course…! Why wouldn’t I not believe you.?” Frilled Jellyfish replies, White pearl does a big little smug. “Well then! You can be my best friend—AND a helper!” White Pearl giggles on her sentence, wagging her tail playfully. “Really.? I have never made a friend before…! I’ll make sure I’ll be your closest friend…” Frilled Jellyfish replies, leaning in yet again. “First thing—Ive seen the guards calling my older sisters fancy names, I wanna be called a fancy name! You try it!” White Pearls eyes were filled with sparkles, resembling like the stars. “Fancy name…? Um, how does ‘My Lady’ work on you.?” Frilled Jellyfish tilts her head, unsure to what to call her–she sighs abit “Maybe I should—” White Pearl stops Frilled Jellyfish from speaking, covering her mouth before removing it. “Yeah! ‘My Lady’… it has a good tone in it, you should call me that from now on. Okay?” She smirks, putting her hand out—gesturing a handshake of promise, Frilled Jellyfish hesitates putting her hand too… but she does anyways as they shake their hands.

“We’ll be the bestest of friends ever, I know it!” White Pearl happily cheers—smug as ever. “Of course! White P— I meant My Lady…!” Frilled Jellyfish pauses, waiting for White Pearl. “Haha! I finally have someone to talk to! I can tell you so many stories!” White Pearl cheerfully says, as she goes on to her rambles of story telling. . .

They both slumber inside the nook, embracing each other from their arms.
