how far do you let people overstep your boundaries before theyโre cutoff? what boundaries are instant cutoffs? how many chances do you give people before you cut them off?
-
@finneass I give people 3 warnings 4 at best if I like you.
PS: I am not out to get anyone with this. It is just my opinion. :p
1. Call out my Forehead size, Weight, Height, or Attractiveness in a negative way (Bullying/harassment/Rumors)
I used and still do get bullied because of my forehead size and weight. I donโt feel comfortable when people do this.
2. When you act like a terrible human being, and have no reason to do it. (Like accusing)
Example: When people say โItโs my opinionโ , โItโs Validโ , or โStop being bitchyโ just because Iโm standing up for myself. Usually people say these things after they said an Inappropriate joke or said something that isnโt very cool to say outloud.
3. When people spread UN-TRUE Rumors.
Example: Things that have never happened, Wonโt ever happen, or something to start drama.

for me, you get 1-2 warnings most of the time before itโs an instant cutoff, and if you KNOW youโve gone over that and you keep overstepping those boundaries, youโre cutoff and instantly on the fuck you donโt talk to me ever again list in my head. instant cutoff boundaries for me are talking about my body if weโre not together, being overly touchy, telling everyone my business, laughing at my pain, and playing with my emotions, like those are my top pet peeves ngl.

Boundaries are a complicated thing in general, some are more broad, some are more specific, some are harder to comprehend and follow, others are simple, etcโฆ
For instance, Iโm okay with certain people saying flirtatious things to me (friendly flirts), but coming from others itโs discomforting. One of my hard-set absolute boundaries has to deal with relationship speak; Iโve had people ask me out and get offended or pissed off from me saying Iโm not comfortable with it. After that point, I usually ignore anything else. And above that: Anything explicit I immediately shut down. Most people are chill when I ask โHey, please donโt talk about thatโ or โHey, please donโt send those kinds of thingsโ. Other than that, I donโt even really know my own boundaries.
Actually, there are some others that I canโt list here forโฆrules reasons. :p

I actually remembered one of my boundaries last night. I hate being called pet names unless by people who I actually like. Last night, on MPP, someone called me a couple and I remembered just how much I hate being called anything other than like, โmissโ, โmaโamโ, or just my name.

Pretty much just nicknames people use in a relationship (most common usage case in my experience)
