my advice for being happier in life

a lot of people here ask me how i go through my worst in life and i get back up and go right back to being myself again so i figured i’d just say this for anyone who’s willing to listen. if you want my advice to get through anything, here it is.
smile and laugh, that’s my advice. i’ve been through hell and back with a smile on my face basically the entire time. if you find ways to smile and laugh when you’re down, nothing can ever keep you down for long. my parents kinda suck, i have clinical depression, i have panic attacks weekly due to a disorder caused by general anxiety and an extremely abusive relationship, im 15. i’ve been through so much pain in my life it’s not even funny, but the way i rebound so quickly is because i find ways to be happy in the worst situations. and is it easy? not at all. trying to be happy in bad situations takes time but once you learn how to be happy and make the best out of the worst situations you’ll be happier. finding a silver lining makes life so much easier to live. because let me tell you, life is gonna keep kicking your ass. when you’re down it’s gonna kick even harder, but don’t ever stay down for long and don’t ever let any other person keep you from being happy, especially if this person is in your past. my parents try ALL the time to bring me down, to stress me out and to make me hate myself, and i’ve learned not to let them bother me anymore. so yeah, just smile. thats my advice, thanks for listening to my rant or whatever.
