Haven't Said Poems In A While
-
In the quiet hush of twilight’s sigh,
Where shadows dance and dreams drift by,
A tear falls soft upon the ground,
Echoing the sorrow that I’ve found. The sun has set, the day is done,
And in its place, the moon has spun
A tale of woe, a silent cry,
That only hearts as heavy as the sky can hear.Gone are the days of laughter’s song,
Replaced by silence all along,
No more will joy or light return,
For hope has perished in its turn.In every corner, empty space,
I see your smile, your warm embrace,
But ghostly whispers fade away,
Leaving naught but echoes of dismay. My heart is heavy with regret,
A burden I cannot forget,
Of love now lost, forever gone,
Like embers fading into dawn.Alas! The night grows darker still,
As stars abandon their lonely vigil,
And in this vast abyss of despair,
I find myself alone, without a prayer.Voice for it: https://voca.ro/1hmh8ZjacV0J
